Book a Victoria Fishing Excursion
Victoria offers some of the best salmon fishing in the world, as well as the longest fishing season in BC. From early May until late September, huge Chinook salmon weighing 40 to 60 pounds pass through the area. In early August the Coho appear, the largest ones 20 or more pounds by October. The fishing season remains strong until late November, when the last of the big Northern Coho come through. These fish provide outstanding sport fishing with tremendous strength and incredible aerobatics!
Victoria Offers Excellent Fishing All Year Round!
In addition to exceptional salmon fishing, Victoria also provides great opportunities to catch Lingcod, Red Snapper and Halibut, which can reach up to 150 pounds and provide hour-long arm-wrenching contests! The peak season for these fish starts in early February and stays consistent throughout the summer. December and January are also good fishing months with relatively warm weather and steady action.
