Abigail's Hotel is proud to maintain professional affiliations with hospitality organizations that uphold the highest industry standards. Our membership as a distinguished property with Unique Inns and Select Registry means a guaranteed level of quality during your stay that is unsurpassed among North American Inns and specialty accommodations providers.

Unique Inns is an organization for owner/innkeepers of expertly managed Inns in BC, Washington, Oregon and California that share a sincere commitment to provide their guests with extraordinary accommodations, genuine hospitality and a truly memorable experience.

Select Registry carries out independent quality assurance inspections for each of its members, which qualify as Distinguished Inns of North America. Of the more than 20,000 inns in Canada and the U.S., only 400 uphold the high standards of quality required by Select Registry’s independent inspectors. Abigail’s Hotel is proud to be among them.

Frommer’s is one of the world's most influential publishers of over 330 popular guide books, as well as a very comprehensive travel website. Frommer’s named Abigail's Hotel 'Victoria's Best Small Hotel' from 2002 to 2007.

AAA's Diamond Ratings is the only system that covers all of North America and one of only two rating systems that do physical, on-site evaluations. AAA rates more properties than any other rating system and does not depend solely on the opinion of the properties' patrons for a rating. AAA's Diamond Ratings is the only system that uses full-time, professionally trained evaluators to inspect each property on an annual basis. Abigail's Hotel maintains a triple diamond rating with AAA.

TAG Approved ® Accommodations Most travel guides list any accommodation that pays an advertising fee. But we wanted to take it a step further: We launched an all-out effort to qualify accommodations based not only on their desire for gay travel revenues, but on their employment policies, services, and support returned to the gay community.
